Sustainability for us isn't a marketing word. It's a constraint we set ourselves before we made a single product — no material enters a VASTU piece without us asking: where did this come from, and where will it go?

Natural dyes only. Turmeric, indigo, henna, pomegranate rind — Meera's dyeing workshop uses zero synthetic chemicals, meaning no toxins enter Bhopal's groundwater.
Upcycled first. Anita collects fabric offcuts from local tailors every week. If it can be upcycled, it will be. Virgin material is a last resort.
Zero-plastic packaging. Every VASTU order ships in recycled paper with plant-based ink. Nothing that goes in your bin will outlive you.
Hyper-local production. Every stitch is made in Bhopal. Short supply chains mean lower emissions, faster iteration, and money that stays in the community.
